PRSA Georgia Chapter 2024 Multicultural PRism Scholarship - closes April 30

Time is running out for students to apply for the PRSA Georgia Chapter 2024 Multicultural PRism Scholarship. Please remind your students of this opportunity. First awarded in 2019, the Chapter’s scholarship supports undergraduate and graduate students in their commitment to the practice of public relations. Eligible participants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate public relations or communications-related majors who self-identify as members of a historically marginalized and underrepresented demographic group. The $1,000 scholarship is available for any qualifying student enrolled at a Georgia college or university. For more information, visit  PRSAfoundation.org . The deadline to apply is  Tuesday, April 30 .

  Internship opportunity for students- from Deep Center WRITING FELLOWSHIP JOB DESCRIPTION Deep Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free, fun, and rigorous writing workshops for public school students in Savannah, Georgia. We use creative writing, art, and culture to help young people connect their learning to their lives, and their lives to their communities. Deep’s Writing Fellows are enthusiastic, experienced writer-mentors with expertise in and a passion for creative writing, who volunteer with Deep’s Young Author Project to help Savannah’s youth tell their stories with skill and confidence. The Writing Fellows plan and lead ten to eleven writing workshops with an assigned co-Fellow, in an assigned Savannah public middle or high school. Fellows attend a two-day training session prior to the start of the program. These 90-minute workshops take place once-per-week, after-school, generally between the hours of 2:30 and 5pm
