The Friends of Georgia Radio (FoGR) are now accepting applications for the initial awarding of the FoGR Scholarships ($1,500). Deadline to enter is July 1, 2022. FRIENDS OF GEORGIA RADIO is unique. For the first time in state history, this organization welcomes everyone playing a role in the industry, including commercial, non-profit and college. From ownership, management to on-air talent, producers and production, support staff, digital & social media content staff, to engineering, marketing and sales. FoGR recognizes and respects the fact that Radio requires all these roles, working in concert, for the success we’ve achieved and will continue to achieve into the new century.

Friends of Georgia Radio has applied for a 501(c)(3) IRS non-profit certification required to receive tax deductible donations. Funds will be used to support our educational efforts, including providing scholarships for future Radio broadcasters.
