Fall 2022 Scholarship Timeline:

August 5 - October 31 | APPLICATIONS OPEN
October 17 | Begin reaching out to applicants to schedule interviews with each scholarship applicant
October 24 - November 22 | Multiple board members interviewed each applicant over Zoom for 30 minutes
November 28 | Notify all applicants whether they have/haven’t been chosen as a recipient
December 5 | Publicly announce the recipients of money from the scholarship on social media

Please include…

A cover letter of no more than 750 words explaining your background, how you’re qualified for the scholarship and what has brought you to be interested in pursuing a career in play-by-play


An official/unofficial transcript of your grades to verify that you are an active college student


A radio and/or TV play-by-play demo

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Include a link to your personal website, or upload the audio and video files for free to SoundCloud or YouTube and send those links.
 
**Please do not attach audio or video files to your e-mail**
The length of your play-by-play segment should be no more than 10 minutes.

If you’d like to submit multiple sports, please feel free to do so. If you do, indicate which sport you feel is your strongest.

Highlight reels of 2-3 minutes are also welcome, however the primary evaluation tool will be your play-by-play demo.

Any additional materials that make you a unique candidate for a scholarship.
